This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Montscheinspitze peak. With a total distance of 12.19 kilometers and an elevation gain of 992 meters, this challenging hike will take approximately 5 hours and 18 minutes to complete.

Starting off at the parking area, you will soon come across the Schleimssattel saddle, offering breathtaking viewpoints just 3.17 kilometers from the start. Along the way, you will find several benches and informational points to rest and learn more about the surrounding area.

As you approach the midway point, at around 6.1 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the majestic Montscheinspitze peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the landscape.

Please make sure to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this hike is quite strenuous.
