This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Roter Schrofen peak.

Starting at a parking area just 0.1 kilometers from the trailhead, you will embark on a challenging 9.486-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1400 meters.

Along the way, you will come across a bench 0.56 kilometers from the start, offering a peaceful place to rest and take in the surroundings. Further ahead, at 4.74 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the magnificent Roter Schrofen peak. This peak offers stunning panoramic views, making the effort to reach it truly rewarding.

For sustenance, there is a restaurant located right on the trail at the beginning of the hike and a pub called Pfiff Alm 0.35 kilometers from the start, where you can replenish your energy before continuing your journey.

Additionally, the Kaunertal Center is located directly on the trail, providing information and resources for hikers.
