Located in the Mondarrain area, this hiking route offers a challenging but rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.622 kilometers and an elevation gain of 486 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. About 3.43 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Amezketa, a scenic saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty.
Further along the trail, at around 2.97 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point that provides interesting insights about the area. At 2.48 kilometers, there is another information point conveniently located on the trail for your perusal.
For hikers in need of a quick rest, a shelter is situated at 2.57 kilometers from the start, providing a comfortable spot to recharge before continuing your adventure. Additionally, rock formations can be seen at 3.81 kilometers into the hike, adding a unique touch to the landscape.
Throughout the hike, you will pass by various points of interest such as Ezkandray, a nearby information spot, and Ferme Erreka, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat.
