This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Hurbeleta peak. The trail is 7.523 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 501 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the historic Jauregia manor, a mere 44 meters from the trail. Further along, at the beginning of the route, there is a parking area available for your convenience. Make sure to have enough water with you as the trail progresses.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the wayside cross, a historic landmark just 7.52 meters from the trail. For those interested in learning more about the area, there is an information point named Larrarte nearby.
Towards the end of the route, at 3.28 kilometers from the start, you will reach Col de Larrarte, a natural saddle offering stunning views of the surroundings. Finally, at 3.76 kilometers from the start, you will arrive at the majestic Hurbeleta peak.
