This challenging hiking route will take you to the Mondarrain - Gerastoko bidea area. The trail is an out-and-back type route with a total distance of 7.772 kilometers and an elevation gain of 522 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous climb.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area close to the trailhead. Along the way, there are several points of interest to look out for. Around midway through the hike, you will find the Amezketa saddle, offering a beautiful natural viewpoint. There are also information points like Amezketako lepoa and Ezkandray to learn more about the area's history.

If you need a break, you can rest at the Ferme Erreka restaurant around 0.62 kilometers into the trail. Further along, you will encounter various rock formations that add to the landscape's beauty.

Remember to bring plenty of water, especially on hot days, and check the weather forecast before heading out. This hike is classified as difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so make sure you are prepared physically and mentally.
