Welcome to the hiking route to Muñata peak!

This 11.729-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers. The trail has an elevation gain of 141 meters, so be prepared for some uphill sections along the way.

The hike starts at the parking area near El Oro Negro bar, which is located about 0.07 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring plenty of water as the next drinking water stop is around 0.16 kilometers away from the trail.

As you make your way towards Muñata peak, you'll pass by El Oro Negro bar and the drinking water station. The peak itself is located approximately 5.86 kilometers from the start of the trail. Keep an eye out for the beautiful scenery and diverse flora and fauna along the way.

It's important to check the weather forecast before heading out on this hike, as the conditions can change quickly in the mountains. Additionally, make sure to wear sturdy hiking boots and dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the hike.
