This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with various points of interest along the way. The trail is a super easy, out-and-back route with a total distance of 0.994 kilometers and no elevation gain.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find a convenient Parking Garage nearby. As you make your way along the trail, about halfway through, you'll come across the River Otters and Sea Lions, where you can observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Nearby, you'll also find the Tropical Discovery exhibit and the Northern Shores/Polar Bear area.
If you need a break and some refreshments, the Northern Shores Cafe is located just a short distance from the trail. Further along, you'll spot the Ducks enjoying the water close to the path. Keep an eye out for the Harbor Seal exhibit towards the end of the trail.
For more attractions, you can visit The Edge (New Tiger Exhibit) and the Red Panda exhibit nearby, but these are slightly off the main trail. As you head back, you'll pass by the Samburu Grille restaurant and the Denver Zoo, where you can learn more about the animals and conservation efforts.
