As you start your journey, you will come across the parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you make your way along the trail, approximately 1.75 kilometers from the start, you will reach the ruins of Malga Campo di Sopra, offering a glimpse into the area's history.
Midway through the hike, around the 6.33 kilometers mark, you will encounter Rifugio Maria e Franco Lomini, an alpine hut where you can take a break, refuel, and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. It is open from June to September and offers amenities such as a phone number for contact and a website for more information.
Continuing on, at around the 3.24 kilometers mark, you will reach Passo di Campo, a saddle point along the trail. Further along, at approximately 4.19 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point providing valuable insights into the area's flora, fauna, and history.
As you near the end of the trail, around 5.78 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Lago Dernal, a pristine water body that adds to the scenic beauty of the hike. Finally, upon reaching the 6.28 kilometers mark, you will pass through Passo di Dernal, another saddle point on the trail.
It is important to note that the trail also passes by Corno della Vecchia, a peak located around 3.16 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are water sources located at various points along the trail, such as the one 4.9 kilometers from the start, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the hike.
