This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Lago di Mare in a beautiful natural area. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 11.134 kilometers with an elevation gain of 969 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across Campo Tres campsite, which is just 0.04 kilometers from the trail. This can be a good spot to rest and take in the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 0.44 kilometers from the start, you will reach Malga Le Plagne, a historic ruins site that adds a touch of cultural significance to your hike.

About midway through the hike, at 5.57 kilometers from the start, you will find Forcellino di Mare, a natural saddle that offers a unique vantage point of the landscape. This can be a great spot to take a break and enjoy the views.

As you continue on, you will reach Lago di Mare, the main destination of the hike, which is 5.57 kilometers from the start. This beautiful lake provides a picturesque setting for a rest and a picnic before you head back.
