This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Palavierte area. With a total distance of 14.158 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1197 meters, this challenging trail is not for the faint of heart.
Starting off at the Piazzetta Elisabetta Barei parking area, you will make your way through the rugged terrain, passing by an archaeological site just 0.64 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you'll come across a beautiful water feature around 1.28 kilometers in, perfect for a quick rest and refuel.
Midway through the hike, at around 6.9 kilometers in, you'll find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its natural surroundings. Keep pushing forward, and at 7.08 kilometers, you'll reach the majestic peak of Monte Palavierte, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop and take in the sights at the Sella di Dagna saddle point, located 2.87 kilometers from the start. And for those looking for an extra challenge, consider venturing off the trail to explore the peak of Monte Riquini, just 4.12 kilometers from the beginning.
