This hiking route to Monte Palavierte is located in a scenic area with breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail covers a distance of 14.158 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1197 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across an archaeological site about 0.64 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the path, at approximately 1.28 kilometers, there is a water source where you can refill your bottles. For convenience, there is a parking area at the beginning of the trail.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the peaks of Monte Palavierte at 7.08 kilometers and Monte Riquini at 4.12 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you will pass by the Sella di Dagna saddle at 2.87 kilometers, offering a unique vantage point along the way.
For more information about the surroundings, an information point is situated at 6.9 kilometers from the start. Remember to bring enough water, snacks, and suitable hiking gear for this challenging trek. It is advisable to check the weather forecast before setting out on the trail and to be prepared for changing conditions.
