As you start your journey, you will pass by the Complejo Deportivo Pampa Ingenio, a sports complex located 0.58 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at the 0.65-kilometer mark, you will come across the historic Acueducto de la Ribera de los Ingenios.

Continuing on, you will encounter the beautiful fountains of Laguna San Idelfonso and Laguna San Pablo at 4.13 and 4.46 kilometers from the start, respectively. These natural attractions offer a peaceful setting to rest and take in the surrounding scenery.

Halfway through your hike, at the 6.61-kilometer mark, you will reach the Mirador Kari Kari viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to refuel as you take in the breathtaking vistas.
