Welcome to the K 7 hiking route! This moderate 6.487-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a pleasant outdoor experience with a total elevation gain of 34 meters.

Starting at the parking area located at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. Approximately 0.21 kilometers into the hike, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along, at around 0.57 kilometers from the start, another shelter is available for hikers to rest or have a picnic.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across a water source at 1.38 kilometers from the beginning, providing a refreshing spot to refill your water bottle. Around the midway point, at approximately 3.21 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Tränksgrund picnic site, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy a meal.

Before reaching the endpoint, at about 3.24 kilometers from the start, you will encounter another water source to replenish your supplies. Additionally, at 0.94 kilometers from the starting point, an information point named Hörselberg-Hainich - OT Sondra provides insights about the area.
