This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Route de Carcès. The 11.329-kilometer trail offers a challenging trek with an elevation gain of 291 meters, so be prepared for a workout. The estimated duration for this difficult hike is approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area, followed by another parking spot around 3.4 kilometers into the hike. There is also a water source located at the 5.66-kilometer mark, so be sure to refill your water bottle if needed.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across a viewpoint at 3.5 kilometers and another one at 3.68 kilometers. These viewpoints offer picturesque scenery and are perfect spots to take a break and soak in the surroundings.

For those looking to extend their hike, there is a campsite called Les Fouguières located 0.17 kilometers off the trail. Additionally, there is a restaurant named Les Chineurs just 0.01 kilometers away from the trail for a quick bite to eat.

Towards the end of the hike, at the 4.36-kilometer mark, you will find a memorial worth visiting.
