This extremely difficult 12.092 kilometers out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Goldbergspitze peak. The trail starts at the Parkplatz Großes Zirknitztal parking area. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this trail features an elevation gain of 1290 meters.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the ruins of Parziseltal Knappenhaus at around 4.08 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at 3.62 kilometers, you will come across the beautiful Plattenlacke water feature, providing a picturesque spot to rest and refuel.
At the halfway point, approximately 6.05 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the stunning Goldbergspitze peak. Take in the panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty before starting your journey back.
