This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you through a challenging 15.752-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 291 meters. The trail starts at Bassa del Bep, known for its stunning natural beauty.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area with no fees, making it convenient for hikers to start their adventure. As you continue on the trail, you will come across multiple water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottles and taking a break.
About midway through the hike, you will find the Cova dels Muricecs, a cave entrance that adds an element of mystery to your journey. Further along the trail, at around 7.88 kilometers from the start, you will reach Bassa del Bep, a picturesque spot for a rest and to admire the surroundings.
Although the hike is challenging, with its length and elevation gain, the breathtaking views and unique points of interest make it a rewarding experience for avid hikers. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
