Located in the Hohe Tauern National Park, this extremely difficult 14.2-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the Böses Weibl peak and back. With an elevation gain of 1149 meters, this challenging hike will test your endurance and provide stunning views of the surrounding area.
Starting at the Lucknerhaus parking area, you'll begin your journey towards the Böses Weibl peak. Along the way, you'll pass by the Peischlachtörl saddle and the Tschadinsattel saddle, both offering panoramic views of the rugged landscape. At around 6.56 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a water source where you can refill your bottles.
As you continue on, you'll reach the Böses Weibl peak at 7.11 kilometers, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to take a break at the shelter located at 3.81 kilometers to recharge before continuing on your adventure.
Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter several information points, wayside crosses, benches, and historic landmarks that provide insight into the area's rich history and natural beauty.
