This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Gamsgrubenweg, offering stunning views and a relatively easy trek. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 1.466 kilometers and an elevation gain of 111 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the Franz-Josefs-Höhe parking area, just 0.02 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, at 0.11 kilometers from the beginning, you will pass by the artwork named Wellenberg, adding a cultural touch to your hike. As you hike further, at 0.13 kilometers in, do not miss the viewpoint offering picturesque scenery.

Moving along the trail, at 0.18 kilometers, you will find a wheelchair-accessible restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. Further along, at 0.22 kilometers, another restaurant awaits for those in need of a savory meal. Additionally, another viewpoint can be found at 0.54 kilometers, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

Towards the end of the trail, around 0.73 kilometers, you will encounter two viewpoints, one of which is right on the trail, giving you a panoramic view of the area. Lastly, at 0.73 kilometers into the hike, there is a restaurant located a short distance away for a final refreshment before heading back.
