This hiking route will take you to Lagunillos de la Virgen, a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail spans 10.366 kilometers with an elevation gain of 428 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Tiburón artwork located 3.43 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at 4.1 kilometers in, you will find a picturesque waterfall called Cascada de los Militares.

Midway through the hike, at the 5.18-kilometer mark, you will encounter Lagunillos de la Virgen, a serene spot with clear water. This is a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Throughout the route, there are several points of interest such as Embalse de la Laguna de las Yeguas, Mojón del Trigo peak, and Skibob cafe that you can explore. Additionally, there are water sources available along the trail, so be sure to refill your water bottles to stay hydrated.

It is recommended to bring plenty of water, wear proper hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. The duration of the hike is approximately 3 hours and 28 minutes, so plan accordingly. As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point.
