This extremely difficult 13.161-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through a rugged and beautiful area with an elevation gain of 934 meters. Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by parking areas before reaching Laguna de Aguas Verdes at the 5.93-kilometer mark. This peaceful water feature provides a serene spot to rest and take in the surrounding natural beauty.

Continuing on, you will reach Lagunillo del Veleta at the 6.56-kilometer mark, another picturesque lake that is perfect for a scenic break. As you trek further, you may catch a glimpse of Cascada de los Militares at the 0.12-kilometer mark, a stunning waterfall off the main trail.

Further along the route, you will come across Refugio-Vivac de la Carihuela at the 5.36-kilometer mark, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your journey. Additionally, Collado del Veleta at the 5.5-kilometer mark offers a saddle point with breathtaking panoramic views.

As you near the end of the hike, you will pass by Puntal de Loma Púa at the 5.73-kilometer mark, a peak with impressive views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, you will reach your destination, Lagunillo del Veleta, where you can relax and take in the beauty of this stunning location.
