This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Montagne de la Baume. The trail is 3.138 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 278 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Col de Mézien information point, located just 0.05 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to learn more about the area before continuing on your hike.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the entrances to two caves, located 1.54 and 1.57 kilometers from the start respectively. These cave entrances provide a unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area.
Further along the trail, you will encounter the Trou d'Argent cave entrance, as well as the Montagne de la Baume viewpoint, both located 1.57 kilometers from the start. These points offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, perfect for taking a break and soaking in the scenery.
