Welcome to the hiking route at Eigenmatt! Eigenmatt is a beautiful area with lush greenery and stunning views. This out-and-back trail has a total distance of 2.553 kilometers with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking space located right at the trailhead, making it convenient for hikers to begin their adventure. As you continue along the trail, approximately 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will spot a historic wayside cross that adds a touch of charm to the surroundings.

Further along the route, at about 0.98 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a break and admire the tranquil scenery. About 0.3 kilometers ahead, there is another bench for hikers to rest and rejuvenate before continuing their hike.

Around the 1.28-kilometer mark, you will encounter a water source where you can refill your water bottles and quench your thirst. Nearby, there is also a cave entrance that adds an element of mystery to the trail.
