This hiking route takes you to the stunning Moncayo area. The trail is 5.194 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 701 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 57 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Fuente de la Jarra, a drinking water source located just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the way, at 0.12 kilometers from the start, you will find the Fuente de San Gaudioso spring. Be sure to refill your water bottle at these points since staying hydrated is crucial on this challenging hike.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the GR 90 information point, providing you with insights into the area and the trail you are following. Additionally, at the 2.6-kilometer mark, you will encounter the Moncayo peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
Before embarking on this adventure, remember to pack plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
