Welcome to the Sonnenberg hiking route! This easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 4.046 kilometers with an elevation gain of 142 meters, making it a manageable hike for all skill levels. The trail begins at the parking area near Eisenstadt, Großhöflein, Müllendorf vs. Hornstein.

As you start your journey, you'll come across the first point of interest, Sonnenberg, located 2.02 kilometers from the start. This peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail at 1.9 kilometers from the start, you'll find Sonnenbergwarte, a viewpoint overlooking the picturesque scenery.

If you're looking for a place to rest and enjoy a picnic, a picnic site is located 1.9 kilometers from the start. As you continue your hike, you'll encounter Buchenberg, a peak situated 0.68 kilometers from the start, offering another vantage point to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

Along the way, you'll also discover informative signposts such as Der Hase and Der Fuchs, providing interesting facts about the local flora, fauna, and history.
