This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Buchkogel area, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the Buchkogel peak.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several parking areas, making it convenient for you to park your car before starting your hike. As you begin your journey, you'll come across a wayside shrine called Marterl, adding a touch of history to your hike. Further along, you'll find the Buchkogelwarte viewpoint, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you continue your ascent, you'll reach the peak of Buchkogel, offering a sense of accomplishment and more breathtaking views. Along the trail, you'll also encounter the Hoher Stein peak, adding an extra element of adventure to your hike.
