This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Cima Sassara. With a distance of 12.138 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1478 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.

Starting at the parking area, you will find yourself at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you will come across various points of interest along the way.

At the beginning of the hike, about 0.81 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point providing details about the area. Continuing on, at around 3.57 kilometers from the start, you will come across another information point, offering more insights into the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, approximately 4.61 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a spring where you can refill your water bottles and take a refreshing break.

As you near the end of the trail, about 5.36 kilometers from the start, you will reach Passo di Val Gelada, a saddle offering stunning views of the landscape. Finally, at 6.07 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Cima Sassara, where you can enjoy panoramic views as a rewarding end to your hike.
