This extremely difficult 15.118-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Cima Roma area. The trail starts at a parking area, so make sure to park your car before beginning your adventure. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across various points of interest.
Around the 1.38-kilometer mark, you'll find the Rifugio Selvata, an alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy some refreshments, and take in the stunning views. Further along, at about 1.94 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a natural spring called Quelle, where you can refill your water bottle and cool off.
Continuing on, at approximately 2.7 kilometers into the hike, there is a bench where you can rest and admire the surroundings. As you approach the 7.56-kilometer mark, you'll reach the peak of Cima Roma, offering panoramic views of the area. Finally, at the 6.01-kilometer mark, you'll pass by Bocca della Vallazza, a natural saddle point along the trail.
Please note that this route involves a significant elevation gain of 1650.0 meters, so be prepared for a challenging ascent.
