This hiking route covers a distance of 19.211 kilometers with an elevation gain of 744 meters, making it an extremely difficult trail that will take approximately 6 hours and 18 minutes to complete. The route follows the GR-11 Senda Pirenaica, offering hikers a challenging and rewarding outdoor experience.
Starting the hike, you will come across a parking area just 0.72 kilometers from the trailhead. As you progress, you will encounter Asador La Sarra, serving as a restaurant for sustenance, located at the same distance mark. Further along the trail at the 0.81 kilometer mark, you will find another parking area and a climbing spot, providing a diverse range of activities for hikers.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 8.31 kilometers from the start, you will reach Refugio de Respomuso, an alpine hut and shelter where you can rest and take in the surrounding beauty of the area. Nearby, at 8.31 kilometers, there is also a spring for refilling your water supply.
Continuing on, at the 9.02 kilometer mark, you will find Ibón de ras Ranas, a picturesque water body where you can enjoy the natural scenery. Additionally, at 9.23 kilometers, there is another water feature called Ibon de las Ranas, providing a serene setting for a break.
