This hike takes you to the stunning Säuling mountain area, known for its challenging terrain and breathtaking views. The trail spans 9.345 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1129 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area as you begin your journey. About 3.69 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Naturfreundehaus Säulinghaus, a cozy alpine hut and restaurant where you can take a break and refuel.

As you continue on, at 1.27 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter for any needed respite. The highlight of this hike is reaching the peaks of Säuling at 4.6 kilometers and 4.67 kilometers from the starting point, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the trail, you will come across various informational points about the area, with some located closer to the beginning like at 0.14 kilometers, and others further along the hike like at 4.24 kilometers. Additionally, historic sites such as Gedenkkreuz and memorials like Christian Hellberg and Ottmar Eldracher can be found along the path.
