This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Zunterkopf, offering stunning views and a challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of approximately 5.755 kilometers and an elevation gain of 744 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you start your journey, you will come across a historic wayside cross located about 1.94 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at a distance of 2.88 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Zunterkopf, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Along the way, you may also encounter a waterfall located just 0.12 kilometers from the trail, adding to the scenic beauty of the hike. Additionally, there are parking facilities available at the start of the trail and at 0.05 kilometers into the hike, providing convenience for hikers.

It is important to note that some points of interest, such as a cave entrance and another historic wayside cross, are located off the trail, so be sure to exercise caution if you choose to explore these areas.
