This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 14.434-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1067 meters to the stunning Grubigstein peak.
Starting at the trailhead, you will encounter various points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Rasthaus Zugspitzblick restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure. As you continue, you will come across the picturesque viewpoint Zugspitzblick, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Grubighütte restaurant, a perfect spot to rest and refuel before continuing your climb towards the peak.
Be sure to hydrate along the way, as there are natural water sources at the 4.22-kilometer mark.
As you approach the Grubigstein peak, you will encounter the Grubigalm restaurant, where you can enjoy a well-deserved meal while taking in the magnificent views.
