This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 17.942-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1210 meters in the beautiful area of Gartner Wand. As you start your hike, you will come across various Points of Interest (POIs) along the trail.

About 4.28 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source, followed by the Grubigalm restaurant at the same distance. Further along the trail at 6.55 kilometers, you will reach the Grubighütte restaurant where you can take a break and replenish your energy.

At the beginning of the trail, just 0.06 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rasthaus Zugspitzblick restaurant with convenient amenities such as phone service and a website for more information.

Throughout your hike, you will also encounter benches for resting and enjoying the scenery. Additionally, there are notable peaks such as Grubigstein and Gartner Wand along the way, offering breathtaking viewpoints and photo opportunities.

Remember to bring an ample water supply and snacks for this challenging hike, and it is advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on your journey. The trail is an out-and-back route, meaning you will retrace your steps to the starting point after reaching the destination.
