Welcome to the Polenzer Weg hiking route! This route offers a pleasant and easy hike with a distance of 4.461 kilometers and an elevation gain of 89 meters, making it a perfect choice for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking options at Parkplatz Waldbad Polenz. As you continue on, you will come across a historical milestone, the Historische Wegweisersäule, located 1.06 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at the 0.76 kilometer mark, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. For those interested in history, be sure to check out the Denkstein der Gustav-May-Stiftung memorial, located 0.31 kilometers from the start.

Water sources are available along the route, with various points where you can refill your water bottle. Additionally, benches are strategically placed along the trail at 0.31 kilometers and 2.23 kilometers from the start, providing opportunities to rest and take in the scenery.
