Welcome to the Marneweg - Marneweg hiking route!

This easy out-and-back trail spans approximately 3.8 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting from the designated parking area at the beginning of the trail, you'll soon come across the beautiful beach located just 107 meters away. Feel free to take a quick detour to enjoy the sandy shores and the sound of the waves crashing against the coastline.

As you continue on, you'll encounter several parking areas along the trail, perfect for those driving to the starting point. About midway through the hike, you'll pass by a series of water bodies, providing a serene backdrop for your journey.

For a relaxing break, stop by the picnic site located 1.28 kilometers from the start. Here, you can refuel and soak in the surrounding natural beauty before resuming your trek.

Further along the trail, at 1.39 kilometers from the start, you'll find a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the area. Don't forget to capture the stunning scenery with your camera!

Before heading back, make sure to check out "strandpaviljoen Meerzicht," a beachfront restaurant located right on the trail at the starting point. It's a great spot to unwind and grab a bite to eat after your hike.
