This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Via Niella Tanaro. The trail is 12.423 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 240 meters, making it extremely difficult and challenging. It is recommended to be well-prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks for energy.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. It is a good spot to leave your car and start the adventure. Along the way, about 6.21 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles and taking a short break.
Further down the trail, at a distance of 3.04 kilometers from the start, there is another parking area for those who prefer to drive to the starting point. Additionally, at 5.54 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the entrance to the Cave of “Casnea,” a natural wonder worth exploring.
