Welcome to the hiking route from Oberwald to Furkapass in Obergoms. This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 8.858 kilometers with an elevation gain of 414.0 meters, taking approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes to complete.

Starting off in Oberwald, hikers will first come across a parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you progress, approximately 1.8 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point offering insights about the area. Further along, at the 2.31-kilometer mark, you will reach another information point providing more details about the surroundings.

Around the 2.52-kilometer mark, there is a water source that is slightly off the trail. It's a good spot to refill your water bottles before continuing on the journey. As you approach the 4.26-kilometer mark, be prepared to catch a glimpse of "Tällistock," a notable peak in the region.

At 3.3 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point named "Tällilücke," where you can learn more about the local flora and fauna. As you continue onwards, you will encounter another peak known as "Tälli," standing tall at 3.68 kilometers into the hike.

For those driving to the trailhead, there are parking facilities available both at the start of the trail and around the 0.04-kilometer mark. Additionally, at the Furka Passhöhe, approximately 0.04 kilometers into the hike, you will find an alpine hut and a saddle, offering a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape.
