Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, hikers will first come across an information point with details about the area. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Unteres Schwärziseeli, a beautiful alpine lake situated 2.1 kilometers from the start. This makes for a great spot to take a break and soak in the serene surroundings.

Continuing on, you will encounter the Mittleres Schwärziseeli, another picturesque lake located 2.35 kilometers into the hike. Although not directly on the trail, its proximity makes it worth a short detour for those seeking more scenic views.

As you trek further, you will reach the saddle at 2.8 kilometers, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding peaks. Further ahead, at the 3.45-kilometer mark, you will find a peak with breathtaking views, perfect for a memorable photo opportunity.

On the way back, hikers can stop by the information point near the parking area to learn more about the Furka Pass and its significance in the region's history. Additionally, at the Furka Passhöhe, there is an alpine hut offering a cozy retreat for weary hikers.
