This challenging hiking route will take you through the beautiful countryside to the Alpine hut "Planinski dom v Gorah". The total distance of the route is 9.237 kilometers with an elevation gain of 567 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 3 hours and 33 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area, located 0.54 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will pass by another parking area right on the trail at the start of your hike.

Midway through your journey, at a distance of 3.64 kilometers from the start, you will find a viewpoint offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Just a bit further along, at 3.84 kilometers from the start, there is another viewpoint where you can take in even more breathtaking scenery.

At 4.24 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak known as "Vrhe", located a short distance off the trail. Finally, after hiking a total of 4.62 kilometers, you will arrive at the Alpine hut "Planinski dom v Gorah" where you can rest and enjoy some refreshments before heading back.

It is important to note that this trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
