Hiking : Rifugio Carè Alto

This challenging hiking route will take you on an 8.574-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1163 meters in the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Carè Alto.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by Pian delle Seghe, a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. As you continue, you'll encounter Malga Zucal, an ancient ruin with a fascinating history, located around 2.09 kilometers from the start.

Halfway through the hike, you'll find a tranquil picnic site where you can take a rest and enjoy a packed meal while soaking in the stunning surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 4.29 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Rifugio Carè Alto alpine hut, a perfect place to take a break, refuel, and maybe spend the night if you want to extend your adventure.

Throughout the hike, you'll also come across several information points, benches for resting, and even a drinking water spot at 1.91 kilometers from the start to ensure you stay hydrated during your journey.
