Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the "Refugio Nogal del Barranco" wilderness hut, which is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. This hut is located about 115 meters from the trail, so it's a short detour worth taking.
Continuing on, you will reach the "Tejo de las Mulas" peak, which stands at 5.01 kilometers from the starting point. This peak offers breathtaking views of the area and is a popular spot for hikers to take in the scenery. As you hike further, you will also come across the "Collado de Arbillas" and "Collado Berrocosillo" saddles, which provide a nice change of scenery and a good resting point along the trail.
