This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Vereda del Refugio del Rey. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 9.564 kilometers and an elevation gain of 485 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
You will start your journey at La Plataforma, where you can find parking facilities. As you begin your hike, you will come across a shelter and a biergarten for a quick break. Around 1.73 kilometers into the trail, you will find a water source to refill your bottles.
Halfway through the hike, at approximately 4.19 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Cuento Alto, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at 4.66 kilometers, you will encounter another peak, as well as a saddle at 0.58 kilometers.
