This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Calle El Calvario to Calle El Calvario. The trail is 6.716 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
Along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the Zona Arqueológica Lomo de Caserones, an archaeological site located 0.22 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will pass by various ruins dating back to historic times, such as the Zona Arqueológica El Cruce and Charco de la Aldea.
About midway through the hike, you will encounter several water features, including natural springs and streams, perfect for a refreshing break. Additionally, there are amenities like picnic sites and restaurants along the trail, such as El Puente and Restaurante El Chozo.
