This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape of the Startrampe Fulpmes Kreuzjoch area. With a total distance of 8.212 kilometers and an elevation gain of 546 meters, this route offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Panoramasee, a beautiful water feature just 0.19 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Galtalm alpine hut at 1.8 kilometers, where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.

Midway through the hike at 4.1 kilometers, you will reach the Panoramarestaurant Kreuzjoch, a perfect spot to refuel and take in the surrounding mountain views. Further along the trail at 4.11 kilometers, you will encounter the takeoff site for free flying enthusiasts.

One of the highlights of the hike is the Aussichtsplattform Stubaiblick viewpoint at 3.53 kilometers, offering a panoramic view of the area. Additionally, you will come across historic sites such as the wayside cross at 1.83 kilometers.

Throughout the route, you will find benches and information points where you can rest and learn more about the area. It is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this difficult hike.

As an out-and-back route, you will return to the starting point at the Startrampe Fulpmes Kreuzjoch, completing a total of approximately 8.212 kilometers. Remember to pace yourself and enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way.
