This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Krničarjeva koča na planini Javornik. The trail is 5.697 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 625 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 52 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by Gradišče nad Bašljem, an archaeological site, and Gradišče, a peak with stunning views. These points of interest are located just 0.17 kilometers from the start of the trail, so you can enjoy them early on in your hike.
About midway through the hike, you will find a couple of benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. There is also a drinking water stop at 2.52 kilometers from the start, so make sure to refill your water bottle to stay hydrated during the rest of the hike.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 2.85 kilometers from the start, you will reach Bašeljsko brezno, a cave entrance. This is a unique feature to explore before making your way back along the same trail.
