The route is considered difficult due to its length of 8.73 kilometers and elevation gain of 769 meters, so be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Dom Čemšenik alpine hut, situated 1.03 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to rest and enjoy some refreshments. Along the way, you will encounter the Javorov vrh peak at 3.45 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Volčje jame, a scenic saddle located 2.54 kilometers from the start. Here you can take in the beauty of the natural landscape and recharge before continuing your adventure. Further along the trail, at 3.25 kilometers from the start, you will find the Izvir pod Javorovim vrhom spring, a perfect spot to refill your water bottle.

Towards the end of the route, at 4.23 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak with spectacular views. Take your time to soak in the scenery before making your way back. Throughout the trail, you will also come across various benches, information points, and drinking water sources to enhance your hiking experience.
