This extremely difficult 17.175 km circular hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Großer Stein - Via Mottarone. The trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1321.0 meters and is estimated to take around 7 hours and 16 minutes to complete.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across the Mottarone peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will encounter the Rifugio Gran Baita CAI Omegna and Rifugio Genziana alpine huts, providing a place to rest and recharge.

Midway through the hike, you will find Villa Pizzini, a restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat. Further along the trail, you will pass by Casa della neve, a restaurant offering sustenance for hikers. As you make your way back, you will come across Ippopotamo rock and several viewpoints where you can take in the scenic beauty of the area.
