This difficult 7.763-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning area of Le Moriond. The trail starts at Parking des Fontanettes and leads you through various points of interest along the way.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by a cafe just 0.06 kilometers from the start. About 1.89 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. Further along the trail at 1.81 kilometers, you will find Refuge des Barmettes, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

At around 3.65 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Le Moriond, offering breathtaking panoramic views. As you continue on, you will encounter a wayside cross at 2.27 kilometers and picnic sites for a scenic lunch break at 0.46 and 1.6 kilometers.

Throughout the trail, you will find various information points to learn more about the area, such as Barmettes at 1.6 kilometers and Village des Fontanettes at the start. Make sure to check out the historical GR 55 marker at 1.04 kilometers.

The trail also offers facilities like shelters at 0.33 kilometers and restaurants like Les Barmettes at 1.82 kilometers, and Auberge des Fontanettes at the start. You can also find drinking water stations at 1.83 kilometers to stay hydrated during your hike.
