This extremely difficult 16.544-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Mont Triboulet area. With an elevation gain of 945 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the way. As you hike further, you will come across an information point located 1.01 kilometers from the start, providing you with interesting insights about the area.
At around 2.25 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Trou des Corneilles viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. As you continue along the trail, you will encounter the Baisse de Barel saddle at 6.7 kilometers, a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
The highlight of the hike is reaching Mont Triboulet at 8.27 kilometers, where you can marvel at the natural beauty of the peak. Take your time to soak in the panoramic views before heading back the same way you came.
