This hiking route takes you through the stunning natural beauty of the area surrounding Aussichtskanzel Großbachfall. The 5.466-kilometer trail offers a moderate level of difficulty, with an elevation gain of 205 meters, making it suitable for hikers of various skill levels.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find convenient parking at Ströden, so you can easily start your hike. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter interesting points of interest such as rock formations and viewpoints. Be sure to take a moment to admire the natural beauty surrounding you.

About a quarter of the way into the hike, you will come across the charming restaurant and alpine hut, Islitzeralm, where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. Further along the trail, you will find the Waldseilpark Großvenediger, a climbing park that offers a unique adventure experience.

As you continue your journey, you will pass by various information points and benches where you can rest and take in the stunning views. Keep an eye out for the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße, a famous scenic road in the area.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the breathtaking Umbalfälle waterfall, a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the area. Be sure to stay hydrated and pack plenty of water for your hike, as well as checking the weather forecast before setting out.

After reaching the Aussichtskanzel Großbachfall viewpoint, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape before retracing your steps back to the starting point. Remember to leave no trace and respect the natural environment during your hike. Enjoy your adventure!
