This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the beautiful Berger Kogel peak. Starting from the trailhead, you will first come across a charming wayside shrine dedicated to St. Florian, followed by a bench and two historic wayside crosses along the way. As you continue on the trail, you will find a refreshing water source to refill your water bottles.
Further along the route, you will pass by several informative signs providing interesting facts about the area. Make sure to take a moment to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty and the peaceful atmosphere. After trekking for about 5.14 kilometers, you will reach the highlight of the hike - the Berger Kogel peak.
Standing at the peak, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take some time to rest and soak in the breathtaking scenery before heading back the way you came. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this route covers a distance of 10.273 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1320.0 meters.
