This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Sommet de Crouzille, standing tall at 1153 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 7.559 kilometers and an elevation gain of 585 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several parking areas along the way. The first point of interest is a campsite called Camping à la ferme de Verdun, located 0.95 kilometers from the start. This could be a great spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue on, you will come across a fountain just 0.81 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This could be a good place to refill your water bottle.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Sommet de Crouzille at 3.78 kilometers into the trail. Enjoy panoramic views from the summit before making your way back.

On your return journey, you will also pass by Le Grand Simbal peak and Pas de Toulzan saddle, providing more opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
